Hey there, my artsy friends! Thanks for stopping by to see my Design Team card for Shopping Our Stash Challenge #312 You Light Up My Life – use an image with a Light Bulb – lantern, lamp, flashlight, etc!
Have you tried the Watercolor Crayons from Recollections from Michaels???? They are unbelievable! They are awesome! They are so easy to use! They are super shimmery!
You HAVE to try them! To get this super vibrant look, I scribbled on watercolor paper and then buffed it with a dry paper towel! I didn’t even use water for this background! I cannot say enough nice things about these crayons! You must go out, right this second, and buy them!! You won’t be disappointed! (The other good way to use them is with a damp baby wipe or damp paint brush. Too much water takes away the color so be mindful of that!)
Now, I hope you join us on this challenge! I can’t wait to see what you create!
I’m linking this up at Paper Craft Crew Challenge #251 New To You since I finally got a chance to play with these crayons that I bought months ago and at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog Challenge #67 Somewhere Over The Rainbow since this Stampin’ Up stamp called “Crazy Mixed Up Love” is from a destash sale two or three years ago when a rep was selling retired products!
Hi there, my creative friends! I’m here with my Design Team card for Cardz 4 Guyz challenge #174 Christmas in July! This challenge is always a challenge for me since I live in Texas and it is sooooo hot here I just can’t think about designing a Christmas themed card! It is so painful to try and be Christmas cheery when it’s 100 degrees outside! Ugh! I tried to do something fun so I decided to place this cute snowman on a wobble so he’s waving “Hi!” I hope you like it and can join us for this challenge! In the end it is always fun to force yourself to do something hard and to just get out of your comfort zone!
I’m linking him up at Christmas Cards All Year Round July Challenge – Anything Goes! and at Christmas Card Challenges #17 and at Sweet Stampin’ Challenge Blog Christmas in July and their sister site Christmas at Sweet Stampin’ Challenge Blog Anything Goes and at Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge Christmas in July 4 Kids!
Hey there, stampers! I love summer! I love the beach! I love my “tank-ini” which is like a bikini but has a tank top instead of the bikini top! One piece bathing suits are awful if you have to go potty so tank-ini’s are the way to go! Anyway, here is my Design Team card for Always Fun Challenges #15 Paper Piecing! I had so much fun piecing this card together! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it! I also hope you all join us and link up your own card!
I’m going to link this card up at 4 Crafty Chicks 4C C#359 Summer Celebrations and at Make My Monday Challenge Challenge #50 Travel or Vacation and at Simon Monday Challenge Blog Get In Shape Challenge and at Sunny Day Crafting Ch#43 “B” is for Beach and at Curtain Call Surf’s Up!
Hi there, fellow cardmakers! It’s the middle of the month so it’s time for a reminder for the challenge at Naughty or Nice Challenge! This month’s theme is “If the shoe fits!” so let’s see some fun cards with shoes on them!
Here is mine!
I’m going to link this card at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie Challenge #73 and at Paper Craft Crew Challenge #251 New To You challenge since this stamp set of the flamingo is brand new and at City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #370 Two Colors Only so I only used pink and orange!
Hi again, my crafty friends! Here is my card for Shopping Our Stash Challenge #311 CAS for Simplicity Day! That means a Clean and Simple card in honor of National Simplicity Day which is July 12th!
I used several pieces of “found” acetate, stamped the image on each, colored them with Copics and layered them on top of each other with foam tape separating the layers for a tunnel effect!
I hope you join us with a CAS card of your own! I’d love to see your creation!
Hi again, crafty peeps! Here is my Design Team card for Always Fun Challenges Challenge #14 Anything Goes! I decided to try an ink swiping technique and fell in love!! The card looks so much better in real life! The colors are amazing and the sparkle is wonderful! I wish I could have captured it in the photo so you could see it!
To make the background, swipe Distress Ink pads across watercolor paper then spray shimmer water all over it and let it dry! So easy and so pretty! I hope you join us and link up a card! We’d love to see what you create!

I’m from the United States so here is my Red, White and Blue card! I look forward to seeing your cards so please link one up!
