Be Strong card

Hello again, stampers! Here is my Design Team card for Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #12 – “L” is for Lace and other trimmings! I had a great time with this piece of pre-printed scrapbook paper! It was super bright and I hated it so I grabbed my Vintage Photo Distress Ink and went to town making it look old! Then I embossed the saying and added a lace sticker and some embellishments! Done! I really like how it turned out! Please let me know what you think and then join us for the challenge!!

Hug Me Cactus card

Welcome, my crafty, creative friends! I am back with a simple yet sweet card for Always Fun Challenges Challenge #49 Shades of Green! I had fun doing a cool technique that I saw Jennifer McGuire do earlier this week! She called it Distress Oxide Water Painting!

Her technique is you stamp with VersaMark ink and emboss with clear embossing powder then you blend color on your water color paper with Distress Oxide inks and then buff the embossing with a clean cloth. Then you grab your water brush and add a little water to your image and press a clean cloth on it to lift the color and repeat! Such a cool effect!! Try it and join us for the challenge!!

I’m linking this card up at Cards in Envy for the Green Things Card Challenge and at AAA Cards   Challenge #110 Ombre!
