Well, Hello Again! My second post for the day is a shabby chic card for Shopping Our Stash Challenge #288 Days of Yore, Make something with a vintage/shabby chic/distressed look to it! I shopped my stash and came up with some lace stickers, a vellum butterfly, ribbon and pearls! I had to dig deep to do this card since I do not do shabby chic or vintage cards. It’s just not my thing, or at least it wasn’t until now! I really enjoyed making this card so I have a feeling I’m going to try this style more often! It was fun!

You did a great job! It took me a minute to get the hang of Vintage design and I still can’t get the hang of Shabby Chic, it just looks like a lot of lace and flowers and stuff but I’ve learned that I just have to keep plugging away at the styles that are out of my comfort zone. This is very good and well executed!

I agree for your first shabby chic card it’s beautiful. I love them once it’s finished. I need to venture out on the technique world more often too.

Well Cyndi, I actually had to go check out the meaning of Shabby Chic and then, go take a looksee at Pinterest, but you did a great job for your first attempt at this style. I love the pretty pattern paper behind your beautifully distressed sentiment, the pearls and lace just completes the look perfectly.
