Let’s Get A Cup of Coffee card

Hola, my fellow crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by to see my creation for the latest challenge at Shopping Our Stash #261 which is to make a matchbook card of any size or shape. I gotta admit that this one was a hard one for me because I didn’t know what a matchbook card was! So, I YouTubed it and found a few tutorials but still didn’t know where I was going with it until I saw someone put a gift card in it! The light bulb went off and I knew exactly what I was going to make! Here ya go! Guess what kind of gift card I’m going to put in it!! Why, Starbucks, of course! Now, go check out what my teamies created then link up your own matchbook card! It turned out to be a lot of fun!

BTW. the stamp set is from Stamps of Life! It’s one of my all time favorites! I reached deep in my stash for my project! I used an old light bulb box for the hot coffee holder and stole a wooden stir on my last visit to Starbucks (I hope they didn’t mind)!

  1. ohhhhhhhhhhh you are just WAY TOO CLEVER! absolutely in love with this design AND bonus points for having the matchbook device hold a gift card! (i got so caught up in the engineering/design aspect it never occurred to me to make it USEFUL… duh, lauren!) LOVE this missus!!! ♥♥♥

  3. Perfect! This is adorable, and would be great to have a couple of these made up– I may have to do a little CASEing in the future! (I am already thinking these would be great for co-workers)… thanks for the inspiration!
